He is seen by the witness there, covered in the victim's blood, and is accused of murder.īelieving her father, she agrees to reopen the case and clear Seo In Woo's father's name if Seo In Woo fights as her father's lawyer to prove that the crime was an accidental death and he agrees. Seo In Woo's father goes to the crime scene after Hye RI's father leaves because he received a phone call from the drunken victim. Scared, he listens to the advice of a policitian of creating an alibi and of allowing Seo In Woo's father take the blame. Hye Ri's father pushes the victim who slips and hits his head against a stone, resulting in death. He met with the victim over property disputes (the victim requests for absurd amounts of money for property that he needs for construction) and is assaulted by the victim when he refuses to give him the money. Although she is torn by Seo In Woo's betrayal (that he stayed with her all along because he had planned everything, including the fact that she would be the one investigating and reopening her father's case) and by the knowledge that her father had killed someone, she refuses to give up and confronts her father. He demands that his father's name be cleared of the crime that Hye RI's father committed. WIth this in mind, she investigates Seo In Woo and finds out that he is the son of the man who was wrongfully convicted as the murderer for this crime. While interrogating these people, Hye RI realizes that Seo In Woo had been in contact with them for years. Hye Ri finds out that he had paid off the people in his alibi and the witness of the crime. Her father is involved in this case but is cleared because of his alibi. The simple case of a dispute between lovers connects with a murder case that happens 15 years ago. Through one of her cases, she discovers that the people involved are hiding secrets from her and she investigates further. Hye Ri also becomes aware of her own feelings for Seo In Woo. This soon ends when Hye Ri realizes that she was infatuated with his coolness rather than she loved him and when Yoon Se Joon becomes aware of Jin Jung Sun's (Choi Song Hyun)(who is another prosecutor in the office that has been taking care of his daughter for him) feelings for him. WIth Seo In Woo's help, she starts dating Yoon Se Joon. Hye Ri is also very similar physically to Yoon Se Joon's deceased wife. She develops a crush on Yoon Se Joon after he saves her during one of her cases (unaware that Seo In Woo is also fighting to protect her in the background). However, she slowly improves and is helped by Seo In Woo who always seems to be with her when she needs him. leaving work right on time, not eating with her seniors, wearing fashionable clothes to work, not showing empathy towards her clients, etc.). She gets off on a bad start with Yoon Se Joon and the other prosecutors because of her mindset as a prosecutor (ie. In order to buy a pair of high heels at the fashion show and to pay for other expenses, she becomes in debt to Seo In Woo. The other man is Seo In Woo (Park Shi Hoo) who is a lawyer and double-books the same suite that Hye Ri did.
Hye Ri mistakens him to be the thief that stole her bag (with money and her cellphone) and tackles him, causing him to lose the suspect. Yoon Se Joon (Han Jung Soo), whom she will later find out is her mentor, is a prosecutor who goes to the ski resort to catch a criminal that he has been chasing after for 3 years. She skips out on her workshop after graduation to go to a fashion show held at a ski resort. Could Ishak be next on the list, or is he the man responsible?
